Is the solar system bigger than we thought?

Jim Green, former NASA chief scientist, and Ed Belbruno, a mathematician at Yeshiva University, argue that the sun's gravitational frontier reaches nearly 3.8 light-years, about 241,000 astronomical units. They made the case in the August 2026 issue of ROOM, a space magazine.
